In studying this course it helps me to know more about the history of the Church and to know many people that are involved in this history. There are two things I've learned from this topic, why we should study history; because it is part of our church today and to know the preservation of God. It is always good to remember the work of our church fathers, ow they defend themselves from any other who attack them. I really admire how they work hard, of what they believe and stand for, When I heard and learn from it I realize that each one of them faces many persecutions, but those persecutions never stops them to tell what is true. However, it makes them more eager to preach the word. God really preserve each one. There are many things happened in the past. One of it is that burning the bibles and many books that is related to the works of the church Fathers. But no matter how difficult it is, the plan of God is always active. God never let the bibles passed away it is always exist until the end of the day. For the bible tell us that the heaven and earth will passed away but His word will never passed away. As I learned and meditate on it, the plan of God will always prevail. May He allow those things but at the end it is all for His glory. I may not know this things by ignoring it. All I need is to learn more about our church history. Through reading and listening to the lesson may keep me more interested and know deeply about our history. Appreciating and praying that every Christian will stand firm until the end.To God be the glory.
